I watch too much TV as it is; been saying that I'm going to cut my cable and stop watching the idiot box so much.

Approaching retirement; what do I want to do with the remainder of my life? Watch a bunch of grown men play a game as entertainment? I'm really starting to question what is important and sports are just a distraction from the reality of life.

Trying to figure out why I care about the Royals or Chiefs? Seems clear that I'm just a number in the bank to them.

Funny thing is the NFL just laid off a bunch of people due to the economy but they're still getting 9 figures to air one playoff game. It'll be interesting to see how far they can push it when they start breaking the games up on different streaming services. It makes sense to start with the playoff games and see how far they can push it.

The NFL is super profitable and laid off people, you mean like a bunch of other businesses? Stunning...

All the NFL cares about is money which is why I continue to say in our lifetimes we'll see massive expansion in teams, games, playoff games etc.
