the real comedy was watching local anchors and reporters "on the scene" trying to make something out of nothing.

There was a guy in Julian wearing rubber boots up to his knees, and he actually demonstrated how the water was flowing down the street (which was probably maybe 1-2 inches of water.

This "hurricane" reminded me so much of growing up when everyone in the suburbs would freak the hell out about the coming snowstorm and buy out all the road salt and shovels and bottled water at Price Chopper and then a feeling of shame fell over the city as we got a light dusting


I suppose you prepare for the worst case scenario not a time machine but the fact that it never even got windy like...at ALL is hilarious
