Your problem is that you are so focused on what YOU want to happen that you ignore second order effects.

I am not invested either way into kids getting paid in college.

Just observing. It wasn’t just Sanders scouts complained about. There is a lot more me attitude and entitlement coming in these draft classes now than before this money was available.
