It's an absurd story. That doesn't mean it isn't true, but Pablo Torre is the only person who has been deemed responsible for breaking it that I can find, and I have no idea who the **** he is. Maybe we'll hear more from the "many people" he is referencing.

I don't know his whole background, but he was a regular guest of basically any ESPN show. Before that Sports Illustrated. I guess he works for Dan LeBatard now. Don't know how legit the story is, but he's not just some guy on the internet.

I believe you that he isn't just a random guy. But his story is over-the-top ridiculous, and was immediately squashed. And now he's trying to sell that this story getting out forced an immediate change of policy by these "higher-ups". To me he seems full of shit.
