During one of his recent specials, Bill Maher did a real funny bit on that point. He was pointing out the differences between religious zealots in the U.S. vs. zealots in the middle east. He said zealots in the middle East will blow themselves up in the middle of a crowded market and religious nuts in the U.S. can identify the gay teletubbie. I think that sums it up nicely.
