That was one of the rare movies where I thought it was very well made, but too depressing to recommend or see again. Usually, I go for the movies that push emotional boundaries and sensibilities, but this one was too much for me.

Knowing that it was a black comedy, I didn't take it that seriously. The extent to which the divorcing couple were willing to exceed the bounds of fair play was the gag that the entire movie was based on. Sure it made me uncomfortable a few times, but I kept it in the perspective of the intent of the screen play.

I think, I think, it's a tribute to the acting. Because I can watch something like Bad Santa or Very Bad Things and laugh my ass off. That one just made me hate people in general.
