Pat's always been a really good writer; I envied his style, although it was somewhat derivative of Rick Reilly, his hero. He got a job right out of college with the C-J, which was impressive.

Louisville's Rick Reilly... sounds about right. Can't stand Reilly, either.

Even UL fans hate Forde.

Didn't Forde get suspended from the paper a couple of years ago for leaking damaging info about UL or another school to NCAA investigators? Or something like that.
