DV Press Conference at 11:45

Maybe someone can listen and post what he says.

I will be interested in hearing about LJ and the injuries.

Wow, maybe Roaf will only miss a week or two.

So we end up with Surtain and Richardson probable, Roaf Q/D and Sims out?

Telling coaches to "prepare for the worst"....and if these guys play, its a bonus.

Victory Monday gives coaches more time to prepare. have prepared in teh offseason.

Have beaten Raiders 4 times in a row, but its been tough every time. Raiders 9-1 in last 10 years in home openers....Chiefs only team to Beat them in home opener in that timeframe..1997.

Can't fail in the redzone..must put points on board when oportunity is there.....can't miss FGs....must score.

Didn't say Roaf doubtful, said he was a lot better today. Will know more tomorrow. Sounded hopeful.

Sounds like Sims may be the only one out vs. the Raiders...

Thinks Raiders are better than last year....Jordan and Moss improve their Offense....have big homefield advantages Chiefs had sunday...Chiefs must have toughness(mental)

Wants to see Defense put back to back good showings to believe it. Stack them up.

Raiders offense is a challenge.....will test our D downfield alot more. Expect to see Jordan "pound".

That was my opinion, DV said Roaf is a lot better than expected and even better last night and we'll know more tomorrow.

The way it sounded to me it sounded like Roaf might even be able to go, though who knows. Sims flying out for a second opinion is a bit worrisome.

Feels better today than he did last night on injuries.

questions
1. how bad did you think the Roaf injury was?
Could have popped and rolled up.....Didn't...MRI indicates its only a "strain"....aggrivated back also.

2.Thinks Richardson will be ready to go Tomorrow

3. have some FAs working out right now....plan to do that every tuesday, just to stockpile potential players....last week they worked out WRs.
