You have to keep in mind that pressures aren't an official stat and teams usually inflate those numbers a bit. In years past the Chiefs used to really bump up the pressures.

Siavii is a bust of monstrous proportions. He's not even young, either. Maybe the worst draft pick ever.

He's another guy that is being utilized in the wrong position. He's 280 lbs, and they have him in the DT rotation? That's just rediculous. Move him over to Hicks spot. He's younger, quicker and faster. My money says he'd be far more productive.

If Tamba Hali was still there when we picked I think we'd be foolish not to take him. Anyone who's seen any PSU games this year can tell you he is a factor on just about every passing play. It's been a while since I've seen one guy consistently create so much havoc. He lives in the other teams backfield. Also, I believe he plays opposite Jared Allen (LDE).
Also, Browning is at the tail end of his career. However, he has not been obsolete for years. IMO, if he had been allowed to play his best position, DE, for his entire career he may have established himself quite nicely. He has consistently been our best defensive lineman over the past few years. Unfortunately for him, because the defense could plug him in anywhere that he was needed most and be able to count on him doing his usual steady job, he never got the chance to excel. If he had played alongside other decent players he would have had a very nice career for the chiefs, IMO. |

Yeah, but in years past, we actually did pressure the quarterback....
