It took me twice as long to download a tv show last night using the new version as compared to a week ago with version 6. I don't know if it has to do with the new version or my computer.

It would be nice to have HD options in the future. They would probably take 2-3 days to download but you could dump them right into your Media Center PC and play them from there.
This is a nice addition though and a step in the right direction. |

In the first quarter of next year Apple is going to have a box that you hook up to your TV and will allow you to watch your DL movies and TV shows on your TV wirelessly from your Mac or PC. Going to retail for $299 Working name is iTV but that'll change since some other company has that name.

Yeah, I'm a big Apple fanboy so I downloaded the new version as soon as I got home.
I think the reason for the slower downloads was for two reasons: 1) as was said, larger files...640 x 480 now on all TV shows, music videos, and movies (up from 320 x 240...4 times better resolution) 2) lots of people probably downloading the new software, new shows, movies, etc. I think the best announcement yesterday was the upcoming product referred to as iTV (it will have a different name). Basically, a small appliance that you connect to your TV which will allow you to wirelessly stream music, photos, TV shows, movies, etc. from your PC to your TV. http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/12/a...g-box-in-2007/ |

Cool that they integrated Cover Flow. My brother has had it on his iTunes for a while now as an open source app. He showed it to me on vacation, and I thought it was pretty badass.
