Will coffee work better than fines?
Chris Sharkey has an offer for any Bengals players who live in Boone County, or those who may be passing through.

Free coffee. If you're sober.

On Wednesday, Sharkey put a sign - "All sober professional football players receive free coffee" - next to his drive-through shop, Jet Coffee, on U.S. 42.

"Maybe a free cup of coffee for these guys is just a little bit of encouragement to stay on the straight and narrow," Sharkey said. "Maybe it will work better than fines, suspensions or sitting out for half of a football game - that doesn't seem to be working."

Sharkey said he got the idea after Bengal Johnathan Joseph was arrested Monday on charges of marijuana possession on U.S. 42 in Florence - less than two miles away.

He was the ninth Bengal arrested in the last 13 months.

Joseph and several other Bengals live in the Florence and Union areas, which means they likely pass by Sharkey's shop on the way to Interstate 75.

"Maybe a little bit of positive reinforcement will do them well," Sharkey said.

No Bengal had yet stopped by to take him up on the offer.

Dammit, I hate when vendors do this. I was in Sand Dog a few weeks ago, eyeballing a desperate crackwhore just to finish off my night. I had her down to $20 as we're talking and walking when out of nowhere pops up a street sign,"Free Coffee to Sober Crackwhores". The bitch wondered off for the coffee. These assholes need to back the **** off. They are ruining my nightlife.
