Wow this thread when south in a hurry, I am truly sorry I missed all the excitement!

here is a recap of our experience last night. A little long, but it was a fun night!

A thought from last night’s game.

First off the crowd at LNC was weak and weak up until OU tied it… It was so quite in the first half that you could hear sneakers squeaking and players yelling stuff on the floor. The KU fans in attendance were awesome. There were a ton of empty seats in the upper level. So whoever that assclown who was busting on me yesterday, (wichitasooner) your fans are weak, your attendance sucked and your boomer sooner song is still gay as hell. My wife and daughter counted 27 times that dumbass song was played during the game or timeouts. Get something new losers.

First half was a lay-up drill for the Jayhawks. OU was off balance and out of sync. Not a lot of fouls called in the first half. 13 total.

The second half was a whistle fest with14 fouls in the first 4:30 of the 2nd? WTF? I was sitting next to a very nice older OU couple and we were talking about the Ref’s taking over the game. He thought the Ref’s were trying to keep KU from blowing OU off the court… OU played some great defense in the second half and KU looked like they wanted to be on the bus headed back to Kansas. Talk about a lack of interest?

KU shot 2 free throws in the first half and 30 in the second? We were 1/7 from 3 land with zero attempts in the second. OU hit one 3 that was heavy guarded and the guy not even looking at the basket. When you’re lucky you’re lucky… They hit 6 total and 5 late in the game… But the fouls were just sickening on both sides of the ball…

Close to the end of the game we were yelling at OU players to miss free throws, an old guy probably 70+ starts yelling at my daughter to sit down and shut up… She ignores him for awhile. I could tell something was bothering her, but I just watched to see what was going on. About the third time he yelled at her, she turns to him and said “Hey old man, why don’t you shut up and go change your depends” The look on that dudes face was priceless… I should have gotten after her for being rude to the old fellow, but he deserved it.

After the game one OU fan were yelling and taunting us about first round losses in the tourney… My only reply was, well at least we are going to the tourney and Boise just scored again… He tried to get into an argument with some of the KU fans that were walking out; His wife really looked embarrassed about his actions. I asked her if she was proud of her husband. She just pushed him and walked away… My wife was thankful I wasn’t being a complete tool, but there was no reason to be. Most of the OU fans were polite and cool. But there is always one or two that are morons.

Over all it was a great night of college hoops. KU played just enough to win, OU was playing for the seniors and were much hyped for the game in the second. They played great in the second half.

One thing that really bothered me about OU fan. Was at the 1:19 mark in the second there was a mass exodus of people? For senior night? Come on fans, I thought you cared about your athletes. KU was only up by 5, then it was 3 and people were leaving in waves…
At least if you are going to trash talk, support your team and your seniors. After the game there was probably less than 200 people watching the seniors talk and thanking the fans… Pathetic at best…
