Because Carl is the arrogant one here. He told Green to go out and find a team that you could play for and then Carl would take care of the rest. In all honesty Green isn't worth more than a 6th round pick. He's 37yrs old, mobility is waay out of the question, he plays scared, he is a system QB that played well behind one of the greatest Olines this league has ever seen with a great running game and arguably the best TE in NFL history. Without that Green isn't anything more than an avg NFL QB. Coming off a bad concussion injury let alone his age completely lowers his value.
