Will Indy's offense collapse like ours did after we lost our Pro Bowl LT?

My guess is no, yet many on here solely blame the Chiefs' offensive collapse on the loss of Roaf.

Make no mistake about it, the gap is at QB and WR. LJ is a better back than Addai, no doubt about it.

Talent wise sure, however Addai is a much better reciever/blocker and may finish with better numbers than LJ just due to the team he's on. Addai is probably a little more complete than LJ is even if he's not as naturally gifted.

I guess my point was that the premise of the thread starter is faulty.

Our offense DID revolve around Roaf. And while Indy's line was VERY good with Glenn at LT, the difference between them and us lies at QB, and then at WR.

You brought up Addai, which I don't think factors in AT ALL, primarily because we're actually better at RB than they are. In fact, we were better at RB before LJ too, except for Edge's one great year.

True. I expect the new LT there to set a new record for fewest holding calls by a rookie lineman.

The decline of the Chiefs offense was due to several factors. The loss of two HOF caliber linemen in Roaf and Shields are the largest factors. But, losing Richardson to Minnesota (thanks to Vermeil), Tait to the Bears (F***ing Ethan Lock), and Dunn to back injuries decimated what used to arguably be the best blocking unit in the NFL.

Now we're stuck with a bunch of wanna-be's and has beens on the O-Line (excluding Waters), a head coach who thinks 20 points is ALOT, and an OC who needs to get his ass back on the field and show our Line how to block again.

Life as a diehard Chief fan sucks.

I think they will drop off a little bit, but not much. The rest of their offensive line is still intact, right?

From reading this thread, evidently Roaf was the most underpaid athlete in the history of professional sports.
