Carl: That's right.

Clark: That's fantastic! So I presume you locked him into a long-run contract?

Carl: We traded him away. He and I didn't get along.

Clark: Oh.

Carl: It also looked like it was going to be a huge hassle to sign him. He wanted big money, I'm telling you. Big money.

Clark: Oh. Well, let's move on. It says here that you took the Chiefs to the AFC championship game.

Carl: Yep, sure did.

Clark: But wasn't that in, like, 1993?

Carl: Yeah. So?
