If the Chiefs do end up with the # 1 pick..

I hope they take Rey Maualuga, Middle Linebacker, USC.

The Chiefs defense has a lot of young talented players but they do not have an emotional leader on the field.

currently listed as 6'2" 250+ lbs

I would prefer a premier offensive tackle with that high a pick versus a QB.

You can't be serious? Have you even watched the Chiefs this year? If you don't think QB is more of a need than anything, then you don't know what your talking about. Let's not draft a QB and hope Quinn Gray can become the next Warren Moon.

I have to admit I have not seen much of the Chiefs this year. They're not televised down here very often. But, from what I have seen, there is no running game and no pass protection. Like Braincase insinuated, it will do no good to have a great QB if he has no running game and is constantly trying to throw the ball on the run or from lying on his back. That's assuming, he can stay healthy from all the beatings.

I love for us to finally get the next Willie Lanier, Rey Maualuga. But I hope we somehow end up with 2 firsts to use one on him. The other, on Bradford or McCoy, if they do come out. I'm not sold on Stafford.

Don't worry, I'm sure the Chiefs feel the same way. They'll draft a tackle.

I understand what your saying, and am suprised you didn't fire back with a rash of insults, that's usually the norm around here. We already have a solid LT, Herb Taylor at RT would be a good upgrade. We still have Brian Waters, I don't think we need to spend a first on an OL, unless Stafford or Bradford aren't there. I want Stafford or Bradford.
