I know you are disappointed in what that team did last year, you can't hide it. It would be like if KU's basketball team last year finished 7th in the polls and lost in the elite 8. Yeah, it's pretty good, but it's meaningless. They would have been chokers.

Your team had higher aspirations than what they ended up with and you know that.

Of course I was disappointed. We had an awesome team, and we still have an awesome football program.

However, you confuse disappointment with fraud.

You realize they have different meanings and aren't synonymous, right?

Again, no one unbiased would say Mizzou's football program is a fraud.

You can keep responding, but nothing you say will counter that main point.

It's scary to think what some of you will do if Mizzou happens to end up ranked ahead of ku in basketball this season. Kansas trailor courts better tap into their reserves to increase security in April.

No, for a team that was ranked that highly and considered to be a contender for a NC to finish in that way is characteristic of a fraud. Sorry, man, but it's the hard truth of the matter.

They were disappointing and a fraud. It doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.

It's scary to think what some of you will do if Mizzou happens to end up ranked ahead of ku in basketball this season.

It's definitely possible, but I don't see it happening.

Yep, it goes both ways.... for years the Jayhawks were chokers in the eyes of their rivals, even though a lot of Jayhawk fans didn't think so. Rival fans ignored the fact that it's really hard to win a NC just so they could fling shit our way.

Then Mizzou's football team has BCS or NC aspirations and ends up out of everything, barely beating Northwestern in their bowl game. Anyone who thought Kansas was consistently a fraud in BB because they didn't win the NC every few years should automatically say that Mizzou was a fraud in football last year. After all, they didn't meet expectations. Who cares if it's extremely difficult, right?



(FTR, I don't think Mizzou was a fraud last year, just like I don't think KU BB was a fraudulent team for the 20 years before they won a NC last year)
