Pioli isn't Carl. I know alot of Patriots are considered to have huge ego's but they also aren't very loyal to players. If he isn't producing he will be gone.

As BRC has said, Pioli's contract is payable in full on the day he gets shitcanned. He's probably here at least 5-7 years.

Any chance he catches a stray .40 slug during a hit @ Garozzo's?

look, I hear you

i'm just discussing the mechanics of it....at some point Pioli will "gain" more credit for dumping Cassel than the criticism he takes for admitting a huge failure...plus, the possibility of getting it right the 2nd time which would be a get out of jail free card

And to be real cynical, if he drafts rookie QB now he's automatically bought himself 3 years....and he can go get a new coach as well, just reset the whole damn thing
