Really? The Chiefs couldn't use a guy like Baston?

I think S Quintinn Scott signed with the Bears, FWIW. I'd love to give DT Wes Lane a shot.

Even our UDFA pickups are stunningly awful.

We had a 5 hour head start on most other FO's and decided to spend it holding a press conference instead of bringing in guys who could actually compete for roster spots on this shitload of **** masquerading as a team.

Indianapolis Colts have agreed to a free-agent deal with Michigan State wide receiver Blair White, who was not taken in this year's NFL draft.

He'll probably catch 60 balls for 700 yards like every other random person the Colts bring off the street.

Ain't that the truth. I mean, really. Who are these guys?

And Indy picks up Blair White...like we don't need a 6'2", 215 lb. receiver that can actually catch the ball. I'm stunned he wasn't drafted, especially after running a 4.45 40 at the combine, and then the Colts end up with him in free agency.

Wow.

And I understand the character thing, but could somebody at Arrowhead get a tender to Tony Washington? Please?

But no, let's sign a kicker to a free agent tender. That makes sense...

Geez.

And the Steelers with Black and Witten.

Did the Chiefs forget that they were allowed to actually sign real players after the draft was over?

They were too busy extolling the virtues of "the process" in a 30 minute press conference while the draft was still going on and they could have been calling players.

Has it ever occured to some people that FA's might want to explore their options before signing with one of the worst teams in the NFL? If I were a FA WR, I'de want a QB who could hit me in stride during a route, rather than having to make a spectacular catch. There's still some decent talent out there who are waiting to explore all options before deciding which team they have the best shot at showcasing their talents.

Now its Cassel's fault that KC isn't signing UDFA's? I've now heard it all.

What a joke...

If I'm an udfa WR, I'm targetting the Chiefs.
