No problem. Even though the offside law is actually one of the simplest laws in the game it is probably one of the most mis-understood laws in the game.

Players and Coaches don't completely understand it at all levels. No way you could expect an American Broadcaster to be fully understanding of it.

Come to think of it.. Didn't USA have a goal against Australia last sat that was negated due to offsides for what I'm guessing was the same type of play. I remember the announcers saying it was a bad call that time too.
