GIF'D UP! 2010

It was one year ago that Bernard Pollard missed five tackles in one preseason game. Angered by his ineptness, I gif'd his ass up.

The gifs didn't lie. Pollard was exposed as a fraud, cut and banished from Kansas City. Emboldened by this great success, I created a massive a thread in which we exposed every fraud on the 2009 Kansas City Chiefs.

No one escaped the wrath of GIF'D UP. Every week, the ****ing axe came down with thunder. It was brutal, it was bloody, and it used up a ****ton of bandwidth.

GIF'D UP is back for 2010 and season two. We're going to expose every fraud on the 2010 Kansas City Chiefs. Let's get this show on the road. There are 20 weeks to the Super Bowl, Corey Mays, Jon McGraw, Ryan O'Failaghan and Rudy Niswanger are still Chiefs, and we need to send Mike Vrabel into early retirement.

LOCK AND LOAD!

In about an hour, we officially kick it off with the Atlanta review.

I'm guessing the play was drawn up that way, to where Cassel only had one option on this play.

Although the Eagles are fast enough to break from their receivers before the ball leaves Cassel's hands, atleast see if you can make a play downfield. I don't even know what to say about this one.

BTW, is Chambers seriously that wide-open? Or is the safety head up on him?

Note the pass blocking on this play, especially Barry Richardson. He's got his man all backed the F up.

I'm just searching for a reasoning. In this system we have many plays that use other routes as pure decoy's. This one didn't work, and Cassel didn't even check the defensive formation obviously or he would have known the play to Dexter was dead before it began.

I'm not against Cassel by any means, but when he F's up, he needs to be called out on it. Same as when he does well. How about a gif of Cassel making a correct read? We can sit here and point out every bad decision by Matt Ryan and make him look bad, but it would also be nice to see where he did his job correctly.

You're searching for a reason why Matt Cassel made a bad play?

Answer: he's Matt Cassel.

So if Huard was Captain Checkdown, that would make Cassel Admiral Checkdown, no?

To the Ship, indeed.

More accurately - throw on time.

He never ever ever throws the damn ball on time and in rhythm with the offense.

He'll pat and pat and stutter step until he actually sees someone open.

I hate him.

It's clear Cassel is afraid of making a mistake. He needs to get over that.
