Once a game is over the coach will always make it a worse case scenario for the next week.

That's exactly how I first saw it. Yeah, it IS a shot at KU, but they deserve it because they kicked our asses. But it's mostly motivational for next week so his team doesn't go in thinking "We beat KU, so this game should be easy."
