Positive Rep for an email address!!!

I want the email address for the CEO of an accounting firm named BDO...

http://www.bdo.com/

Or an email address where I can be heard...not just that shitty contact form.

I need my voice to be heard.

POSITIVE REP for good detective work.

3) All I wanted was some answers from BDO and I am quite content with the graciousness they showed me over email. That's all I wanted...a little piece of mind. We were very offended last night and now I realize it was just ignorance on the customers part, oh well. Glad everything has been handled and I am no longer as pissed off about the whole situation.

But thanks for the 500 post thread on telling me how you would all run a restaurant...you all sound like the ****ing Bennigan's chain I once worked at that is no longer in business...they were such a good bunch! They didn't pay any of their managers the last 6 weeks before going under...claiming it was some error in the payroll department, and everything would be fixed...and then they filed for bankruptcy over night and two of my paychecks bounced and none of those managers ever got paid...for 6 weeks of work...one of my managers was a single mom just trying to make ends meet!

But yeah...it's all about the bottom line! Who cares about the people who work hard week in and week out and promote your product and take care of the REGULARS that they have helped bring in week in and week out...you're right! Lets bend over backwards for that once a year table that, in all actuality, was not only bad for my business, but was bad for the restaurants business as well. Opportunity cost was not there...they took up an entire half of the restaurant we could not use, and we ended up turning away a ton of customers...who would have probably at least equaled the bill of the large party.

That's the thing about that large of a party...they don't order booze, they don't order appetizers, and they order pitchers...the average cover for each person was about $6, when it is usually about $10 or $11...

So again...you restaurant "geniouses" are also wrong...

but please...keep telling me what I know and what I don't know about a place I spend 40 hours a week at...it's quite entertaining.
Wow.

Glad it all worked out for.

I don't know where you work (don't care either) but I didn't run a chain or a franchise. It was me and a partner and a privatly owned joint.

I put gratuity on top of all bills for parties of any kind. We added gratuity to any table of 15 or more and it was my job or my head waitress' job to do this.

I wasn't trying to pile on but making an observation that we all had the weenie slid to us at one time or another and move on. If writing an email to the CEO of the weenie slider makes you feel all warm and fuzzy ...... more power to you. If you were my employee I would have made sure you got your gratuity when I booked the party. My guests knew up front what was coming so there was no guess work or questions such as yours.

I'll give you an A for holding to your convictions. You will find that harder to do if you ever work in the corporate world. Homey don't play dat (most of the time).

I don't feel as if that is necessary...

I didn't call the girl who made the reservation and I didn't track down the girl who paid the bill...

I sent an email to the CEO letting him know how his recruitment groups treat restaurant employees.

I feel like that is within my rights...

Just like every time a customer used to fill out a complaint/compliment form online when I worked at Bennigans...

Two way street if you ask me.

That's just because his customer base of fickle college students is absolutely bulletproof and there's no way it would hurt his business.

Afterall, a mere 2 years ago, Hootie assures us that the business was in the toilet until a couple of bartenders turned the whole thing around.

Now the pizza shack on E. Green St. in Champaign is too big to fail!!!

(did I get it right, Hootie?)
