Darrian Miller (****) Chooses Kansas

Rivals.com reported Monday night that Blue Springs High running back Darrian Miller, a four-star back who was the Simone Award runner-up in 2009, had orally committed to Kansas.

He'll be enrolling in January and ready for spring practice.

So far as a senior, Miller is averaging more than 200 yards a game and has racked up 1,645 yards and 24 TDs on 200 carries.

Miller will also most likely finish his career as Missouri high school's all time leading rusher.
Congrats on Miller. I'm not sure what happened with Iowa, but he dropped KU when he got the Iowa offer. He went up there on a visit, and was told he didn't have a scholarship available. Weird. I know KSU dropped him shortly after his Jr season. The kid is a talent for sure. Good luck.

Well actually you're wrong on every point you just made. He "dropped" KU when Mangino resigned because he wanted to wait on who the new coaches would be.

In Rivals he's still listed as having offers from Iowa and Kansas St. Nothing about the "dropping him".

So unless you have proof of this I'm going to go with Rivals as the reliable source.

But thanks for the good luck wish.

Proof? And you use Rivals as "your" proof?

Uh, Darrian Miller didn't verbally commit to anyone until the Spring of this year, after Mangino was gone, and after KU had hired Radio. He then opened it back up in June. Get your facts straight.

Believe me or not, but Iowa jacked him on his visit, and KSU stopped recruiting him over a year ago (That I am 100% sure of). Let me say this much, if there wasn't hair on this kid, why wasn't Mizzou recruiting him? They are in on EVERY Big Time KC area kid. Like I said, I wish you luck with this kid, but there is some hair on him that has caused many Programs to back away.

This reeks of grade issues or something along those lines. I could see KU signing a guy they know won't be eligible just so they could show other recruits that more talent is on the way. I just get the feeling that something isn't quite right.
