oSu just doesn't look that scary to me... it's a tough place to play, no doubt. But I just don't see Okie Lite being that impressive. I don't see Cobbins being an instant impact guy, and their other incoming freshmen are really not impact guys.

Hatred aside? Riiiight. Missouri will not lose eight conference games. That's just not going to happen.

Especially if Mitchell as cleared, which is the latest hubbub I'm hearing.

Missouri is deeper in the front court, and better. Safford looks 100 percent. Bowers has improved quite a bit (added a lot of strength and weight, and seems to have taken the leadership role well). Ratliffe is going to be a nice rebounding presence. Moore is a bearable big body to play based on matchups or foul trouble. He'll see his PT shrink if Mitchell is cleared to play.

The backcourt is smaller and likely takes a step back defensively (though I think Matt Pressey and Marcus Denmon will be good, just not as good as Tiller and Taylor). But it will be much quicker, and Dixon and Pressey are going to create more opportunities for their teammates.

Going to be a fun year to watch, that's for sure. Especially here in KC.
