My personal criteria is that I only vote for songs that Omaha finds cheesy.
How do you narrow it down to 3?

Should I Stay or Should I Go - Best song of the heat. The Clash kicked ass.

Tiny Dancer - Just a beautiful song. And I love the scene from Almost Famous.

Paranoid - Makes me want to bang my head against a wall. In a good way, of course.

I will say again that there are at least 50 people who have not listened to Killing in the name of. You can't not vote for it in a rock and roll contest if you listen to it.

If we required participants to dedicate an hour to this poll and actually listen to each song the results would be different. It's a TRAVESTY that RATM will not advance (without mod intervention).

I actually kind of agree. It's been one of the best surprise finds of the tournament for me. Great song. I'm not sure even Guns N Roses could do it better.

It has just come to my attention whilst perusing the logs that Black Sabbath and AC/DC have been ballot stuffing. They're creating accounts and voting in polls to advance. I'm at a loss here. I'm torn. I don't know what to do about this unfortunate situation.

I find AC/DC guilty, and Black Sabbath not guilty due to insanity. Court is adjourned.

To be honest, I didn't vote for "Killing in the Name Of" because I didn't want more tough competition in the next round. I voted for songs that I could easily vote against in round 3.

I just assumed that we had enough people with bad taste that they wouldn't need to do it.

Are you pulling for a particular song from an earlier heat, or do you just not want to make a hard decision later in the week?
