Carr is not a nickel CB and Hali's sacks wouldn't double just because of coverage sacks.

With how much cap room we have, I can't believe people are saying they'd be pissed if we added Nnamdi. If we added a decent NT that would make our defense ****ing fierce.

I realize there is practically zero chance of it happening, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be happy about it.

I'd be pissed that instead of addressing weaknesses, we focused on the position that we're strongest in. Nnamdi is getting $12 million per year. We should NOT be giving $12 million to a position we're already good at.

In that scenario, Flowers would be the nickle unless the size matchups dictate the true matchups.

After 11 years together, the Kansas City Chiefs and veteran guard Brian Waters have parted ways. It was, by all appearances, a mutual agreement.

The team announced the move on its website.

“I’d like to thank the entire Chiefs organization, especially for giving me an opportunity as a young player when other teams wouldn’t,” Waters said. “I’m grateful for the coaches, teammates and support staff who helped me become the player and man I am today. I’d also like to thank the fans of Kansas City who cheered us on. The Chiefs and I have mutually agreed on this decision and although I look forward to continuing my career, I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Kansas City.”

“Brian has played a key role in our progress and I am personally grateful for his contributions to this team,” G.M. Scott Pioli said. “He and I had a good discussion and mutually agreed that this is a sound football decision for both Brian and the Chiefs. Brian has been an integral part of this organization and will always be part of the Kansas City Chiefs. We wish him nothing but the best.”

Though it would be easy to suspect that Waters was targeted for his role on the NFLPA Executive Committee, both sides are saying it was mutual.

And so now Waters, who has given no indication of an intention to retire, will hit the market. He’s a five-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All Pro.

IMO, the only way he's getting just $12M is if he takes less to play for the Jets.

Otherwise, I'll be shocked if he gets a dime less than $15M.

Carr is not a nickel back though.

You can't just place corners anywhere. Some are meant to play outside, Carr is one of those corners.
