You're a good dude, and I'm glad I've gotten the chance to meet you, but your "rage/putting yourself on the cross/heroes" schtick is tired.

Hard to take someone seriously when they've never made an intelligent contribution to football talk in their time here, and choose just to tread on the outskirts and flame people who have an opinion from a distance.

Nobody's raging, and no one is offended.

Feel free to join the conversation and add something intelligent to it instead of fueling it with your passive-aggressive horseshit.
I am sure it is tired for you because it is absolutely directed at you. I have been involved in plenty of football talk on this thread. I can't help that you feel you have some kind of exclusive license on what you feel is and isn't good football talk.

I am not the only one who sees how funny the act is. Like someone who isn't being miserable is pretty much dismissed for football opinions. Hilarious.

At least you are still here though...a lot of miserable football crew sort of went away after they were dead wrong about so many things about this team last year.

Tell that to the teams that started improving their team on Tuesday, and the 100+ players that have already been signed.

I tend to agree. They need bodies.
I don't think those signings say anything about the future as it relates to improving this roster.

Nobody has forgotten that. I was there.

I think we are coming along just fine in arc of Todd Haley's time here. Nothing about last year made me feel like we can't continue to improve.

Yes, 6 hours. And most of the players that have been signed (other than the UDFAs) have signed with their own teams, which was how this whole thing was set up to work.

Nature of the board. Come in and show your ass and you're going to get lit up. As well you should.

It sure as hell has happened to me. To give another example, Saccofshit actually is a damn good football fan and adds a shit ton of great information about college/pro football (particular emphasis on the college game). However, in one of his rants against Albert, he alluded to Asamoah's great play at LT.

Oops.

That shit will never die, and he'll always be the "LT poster." Do I respect him? Yes. Will I continue to poke good-spirited fun at him? It's required.

Shocking. More passive aggressive.

I'm not dismissing your opinions because you're not miserable, I'm dismissing your opinions because you don't know dick about football.

I'm not miserable. I'm loving life. I'm happy that this team has a lot more talent than they've had in some time.

What I'm not is a casual fan that ignores the issues we do have.

And last I checked, this is a football forum, or at least it used to be before the casual fans took it over with their bullshit.

So until they take over for good, I'm going to talk football.

Don't like it? Find a photography forum.

At least you'll know what the **** you're talking about.

Yep, FA has only been open for 6 hours.

It's still not on the NFL transactions report, but that could just be running behind. Asomugha's on there, though, so it can't be too far behind.

I am going to post for the next few days in response to the people who think this team has no issues and for the people who think the Chiefs colors should be green.

Even though those people don't exist they don't know their shit and should be taught a lesson by my keyboard.

Yeah, lets ignore the past decade on this board because no one is defending sitting on our hands RIGHT THIS SECOND.

Again, feel free to actually, you know, talk football. That's what some of us are trying to do here in between your posts.

Can't imagine why you'd shy away from doing so and resort to your passive aggressive schtick.

The Chiefs are following the Steelers moto on building a team. Thats the blueprint they've set from themselves.

Build through the draft. Draft well and develop your own. Make sure you hire the right scouts, and select the right players in the draft that aren't the most talented, but intelligent enough to learn, accept/fit into the role of the teams plans. Thats what its about.

And, also ensure that they have the right coaching staff in place essential for player development. that is something Pioli has already done with the hiring of Haley, Crennel, Zorn, etc....I don't think you are going to see major moves because if anything, this team believes in maintaining chemistry and cohesiveness amongst the players, coaches. Sometimes its not always good to have a roster shuffle or make to many changes because the moment you bring in a whole bunch of new guys that can set you back. It disrupts team chemistry because all these "new" guys have to learn everything. And thats a process itself.

If anything, its good to bring in maybe 2 or 3 players. But FA is used to fill in any small voids or gaps that are existent within the team as of now. That is how the Chiefs and Steelers are doing it imo.
