At least you are still here though...a lot of miserable football crew sort of went away after they were dead wrong about so many things about this team last year.

They may be working on the particulars of the contracts and are in no hurry b/c they'd rather their own seem to be the priority.

I tend to agree. They need bodies.
I don't think those signings say anything about the future as it relates to improving this roster.

I think we are coming along just fine in arc of Todd Haley's time here. Nothing about last year made me feel like we can't continue to improve.

Yes, 6 hours. And most of the players that have been signed (other than the UDFAs) have signed with their own teams, which was how this whole thing was set up to work.

It sure as hell has happened to me. To give another example, Saccofshit actually is a damn good football fan and adds a shit ton of great information about college/pro football (particular emphasis on the college game). However, in one of his rants against Albert, he alluded to Asamoah's great play at LT.

It's still not on the NFL transactions report, but that could just be running behind. Asomugha's on there, though, so it can't be too far behind.

The Chiefs are following the Steelers moto on building a team. Thats the blueprint they've set from themselves.

Build through the draft. Draft well and develop your own. Make sure you hire the right scouts, and select the right players in the draft that aren't the most talented, but intelligent enough to learn, accept/fit into the role of the teams plans. Thats what its about.

And, also ensure that they have the right coaching staff in place essential for player development. that is something Pioli has already done with the hiring of Haley, Crennel, Zorn, etc....I don't think you are going to see major moves because if anything, this team believes in maintaining chemistry and cohesiveness amongst the players, coaches. Sometimes its not always good to have a roster shuffle or make to many changes because the moment you bring in a whole bunch of new guys that can set you back. It disrupts team chemistry because all these "new" guys have to learn everything. And thats a process itself.

If anything, its good to bring in maybe 2 or 3 players. But FA is used to fill in any small voids or gaps that are existent within the team as of now. That is how the Chiefs and Steelers are doing it imo.
