Not sure you need one to be successful. The SB Bills were built around a strong running game, a dominant defense and clutch execution. Kelly was a part of it, not the whole thing. And you're right. yeah. the revolutionary offense, known as the k-gun, had NOTHING to do with the four super bowl berths. NOTHING at all. andre reed was ****ing worthless. don beebe was a household name because of the run-game.

****ing seriously? hell, the no-huddle offense and many of the tennants of the modern nfl offense CAME FROM the no-huddle passing attack of the bills.

it's kinda ****ing pathetic that a chiefs fan has to remind a bills fan of the history of their own goddamned team.

Don Beebe was a household name for the sole reason of running down a defender during a rather infamous fumble return in the SB. . It had nothing to do with his offensive production... which was mediocre for a 2nd or 3rd option. After that play, everyone was like "Look how fast that white guy is!" That's it. His entire claim to fame.

The bills popularized the no-huddle offense, but it's hyperbole to act as though it revolutionized NFL offenses.

Apparently you didn't watch NFL Primetime from 1991-1997. Apparently Beebe didn't win 2 SBs, or anything like that.
