Every single coach in the NFL plays guys based on personal preference.

For every Sabby Pistachio of Haley, there is a Bowe or a DJ or a Fitzgerald.

Totally agree on the time management comment, though. Its one of the areas where he could surely use some help.

Sabby is one of the worst players in the league he shouldn't even be on a NFL roster let alone seeing playing time. Are you trying to pretend that Haley turned around Bowe and Fitzgeralds careers?

Oooo, I don't know about that. Vermeil, Herm and Haley were all pretty damn awful when it came to clock management. Vermeil at least knew he had a great offense and could have gameplanned around it, but for some fucking reason never did. That by itself might tip things in his favor.

but yeah, Haley's clock management is pretty disgusting in it's own right too.

I too have been a Haley supporter, but starting Palko for three, let alone one game is throwing in the towel. There comes a time when you leave conventional wisdom behind. I don't care that Orton is new to the playbook, or is a little behind. I KNOW he stands a better shot at winning than Palko. Orton most likely had a better chance at winning last week after being here two days. If Haley doesn't think so he probably needs to go.

All Im saying is that every single coach has players that get field time due to the fact that the coach "likes them"

As to the Bowe and Fitzgerald comment? It must be embarrassing to be able to read things, but not be able to understand what they mean.

NOBODY would ever say that Haley "turned around their careers" but he absolutely took their games to the next level. It's not even up for debate.

Same with the way Haley dealt with Derrick Johnson...who he absolutely "turned his career around"....

Go ahead and throw Hali in there, too. He was always average till Haley got here...now, he is one of the games top 5 pass rushers and a consistent game changer.

Ill also contend that Haley took JCs game to the next level as well and that his early treatment of him (due to fumbling) was highly effective as JCs # of rushes per fumble and YPC and YAC have all significantly improved over the last 2 and a half years.

We can go round and round with this, but it will get us nowhere.

Just like this team without a quarterback.

I'm of the opinion that if we had a good QB and this offense was competitive, no one would be complaining about Haley.

We have to stand together on this, Mr. Laz. After all, it's a Haley world and we're all just along for the ride.

And oh, what a ride it shall be. Tough, dedicated players determined to dominate the AFC for years, if not decades. Brilliant, gutsy fourth down calls galore and tons and tons of surprise on-side kicks. We're going to need plastic surgery so we can add more fingers for all the Super Bowl rings.

All we need to do is make sure our microphone is turned on when it's time to call in a play.
