****Official Apology Thread*****

It's time for everyone to own up.

Did you give Whitlock shit for making up the Egoli stuff? It's mea culpa time.

Did you defend the Cassel trade and contract? Own up.

Did you excuse the Tyson Jackson pick? It's time to pay the piper.

Did you claim McCluster was Wes Welker/Devin Hester? Accept your lashings.

Did you excuse 2009 as an evaluation year? Confess your sins

Did you absolve Pioli of his coaching hires? Prostrate yourself.

Did you make the argument that Pioli was beyond reproach because he's the GM, former executive of the decade? It's time to eat shit.

Let he who is without sin throweth the first rock. And I shalt smoketh it.

------------------------------------------------------------

This space is reserved for my apology in thinking Vernon Gholston was an elite NFL pass rusher and Jimmy Clausen could be a franchise QB. Near Pioli levels of fail.

I defer to football professionals and don't take even the most knowledgeable fan's opinions seriously. Certainly not my own. None of us have the benefit of a professional staff and mountains of professional analysis that even the worst GM's have.

It's a comically absurd if you take your football opinion seriously when compared to a professional NFL front office. If you have ever taken your football opinion seriously or expect that others need to, then you owe us all an apology.

Oh, and this message board and KC's media are far better now that Whitlock's professional trolling is gone.

Did you defend the Cassel trade and contract? Own up. No, it was a wtf are you doing experience for me. We had the picks to get a first round QB. I had paid no attention to Cassel in NE, but after a couple games I hated him. It was obvious he sucked and did not have the tools.

Did you excuse the Tyson Jackson pick? It's time to pay the piper. Another wtf are you doing experience, but I was still on my Executive of the decade honey moon. The highest pick this team has had in my 41 years of fandom and it is a non rushing type DE.

Did you claim McCluster was Wes Welker/Devin Hester? Accept your lashings. I was pretty unhappy, because we passed on some players that even I thought would help this team better than a gadget midget. I get pissed every time I see them hand him the ball.

Did you excuse 2009 as an evaluation year? Confess your sins I tried to rationalize it, no doubt. More of the honey moon, wanting to believe in the new regime.

Did you absolve Pioli of his coaching hires? Prostrate yourself. I actually liked them, still do, loved the fresh approach. I still like Romeo, and think experience is very valuable for a DC. I Wish we would have kept Weis. It was obvious that nobody wanted the OC job so Muir was the only guy that would take it under the circumstances.

Did you make the argument that Pioli was beyond reproach because he's the GM, former executive of the decade? It's time to eat shit. Yep, after King Carl, I ate it up. I wanted to believe in him, he was our first choice here. The naysayers started pretty quick, and it was shocking for someone engulfed in the koolaid.

Let he who is without sin throweth the first rock. And I shalt smoketh it.

I liked McCluster pick. It's pretty clear this year that I was wrong. He's good at spinning, but I don't think that's worth a 2nd round pick.

Can this extend to baseball? There's a certain Bautista doubting thread that Hamas still hasn't apologized for.

Did you give Whitlock shit for making up the Egoli stuff? No, not at all.

Did you defend the Cassel trade and contract? I wanted to believe that Cassel was good. Really. Not sure I ever fully did, though.

Did you excuse the Tyson Jackson pick? Yes, regrettably.

Did you claim McCluster was Wes Welker/Devin Hester? No, haha. Not even close...hated that pick.

Did you excuse 2009 as an evaluation year? Yes. What a waste.

Did you absolve Pioli of his coaching hires? No, didn't like them from the beginning.

Did you make the argument that Pioli was beyond reproach because he's the GM, former executive of the decade? No, but like any GM he deserved some time to show what he could do. Hasn't been much.
