Shaq's shitty career post-Lakers continues.

Now he's stinking up the best show on TV for the next five months, TNT's Inside the NBA with Ernie, Kenny, and Charles Barkley.

How many desperate franchises IN A ROW thought that their dwindling title hopes could be resurrected by bringing in a fat 330 pounder who doesn't practice hard, doesn't invest his attention, has no athleticism and is just a distraction more than anything....

It's one thing when you're ****ing things up for the Suns and the Cavs.

But when you suck up a season for my beloved Celtics, you're on my shit list.

And NOW? Maybe the worst offense of all.

"Inside The NBA" is the best sports show on television. Charles Barkley (Sir Cumference) is the funniest asshole on TV, so brutally honest about life in the locker room, on the court, and his own personal life that I actually DVR this show. Add in Kenny's A Grade analysis of the NBA and Ernie just being your average nerd ragging on Charles...

For years, they did this the right way. They rotated in Magic, Reggie Miller, Chris Webber, and a couple other players. But those guys were my favorite. They are passionate, funny, and they pour effort into their time on the show.

Shaq is just going to be a disaster. You can't HEAR him anyway, his voice only shows up on subwoofers. And he makes Todd Haley seem candid; he just equivocates and shits out platitudes that mean nothing while Charles and Kenny do all the heavy lifting.

**** me, TNT is trying my patience this season.

Remember that time Shaq won another NBA championship post-Lakers?

I'm willing to let Shaq have some adjustment time before I boldly declare that Inside the NBA is worse for having him.

If anyone in this thread doesn't regularly watch Inside the NBA and/or NBA on TNT then they are really missing out on one of the best shows on TV. I would watch that panel talk about anything. Not having that show on for weeks and weeks was the single worst part of the NBA lockout.

I really get into the NBA around the playoffs, and whenever TNT has a game on that night I will stay up as late as it takes to watch Inside the NBA. Even if I have work in the morning and it's one of those west coast games that don't get done until 12:30 or even 1 in the morning.

This is a show that everyone should watch. They had a guy in a Chris Bosh mask crush Shaq underneath a Christmas tree... as the last shot of 2011.

I get that the regular season is boring to a lot of people (and even the playoffs to some) but I think the quality of regular season games has gone up in a lot of cases. The Christmas Day games got high ratings and were overall pretty entertaining. The big knock I've heard about the NBA my whole life is "they don't play defense in the NBA". Well now days, that just isn't true for a lot of teams. The good teams DO play defense, or at least give it a hell of an effort. The reason it doesn't always seem that way, is because these are the best ball players on the planet, and they know how to put the ball in the basket. Hard to defend a lot of good players these days without getting a foul called.

I think the main problem with the league is the ticky tack foul calls, particularly on superstar players. Nobody wants to see 80 free throws in a game, when probably half of them weren't really fouls.
