Can Peterson Break Dickerson's Record?
He has to get about 150 yards against the Texans and Packers to break the LA Rams Running Back's record of 2,105 yards. Not an easy task, especially when you don't have a legitimate QB to alleviate some of the pressure. Even if he doesn't, he deserves MVP at this point, in my opinion.

Personally, I hope he does just so I never have to hear Dickerson attempt the English language again.

Will he? I hope so, only because he's had a magnificent season on an otherwise terrible offensive team and he's carried my fantasy football team to the Super Bowl.

I think the Vikings are more focused on making the playoffs than getting Peterson a record.

He already failed to break one record. OJ got 2000 yards in 14 games.

AP had needed to average 168 over his final three. He's already dropped that to 150 for the final two. I wouldn't be against him. I still consider OJ's accomplishment to be more even though he is a slug of a human being.
