I think people are missing what seems like a simple reason for the extreme Geno love the past few months. This fan base needs to have a QB be perfect for them to accept the choice. Makes you get defensive with every issue Geno may have. As you said, if you asked Geno supporters, most would admit he isn't a lock. Just simply that he is the pick the Chiefs need to make.

I think something that nobody is talking about for both teams was the field itself. Baseball fields grass is different than those of football fields. A normal grass football field the snow wouldn't have effected the play as much as it did today.

It's going to be very interesting over the next couple of months because I have a feeling that Wilson is going to look more polished because of system familiarity.

Smith's tape is better, but I believe that Wilson will have the superior pre-draft presentation (combine, workouts, etc.).

Perhaps, but it comes down to what do you value more, the total body of work in college or the few months after the season before the draft?

I'd be far more prone to go with the former, unless the differences between the two players were nominal from the start.
