That's a good point. It's hard for me to make that call offhand. Sims and Blackledge were certainly disappointments, but they at least started. I think Jenkins played in one game or so, and was gone after two years. That's amazingly bad for a first-round pick. But it does make a difference that he was barely a first-rounder compared to those guys.

I wouldn't put Dorsey in with those other guys, though. He hasn't been spectacular, but he's captured and held a starting job, which those other guys never did. Or at least, I don't remember Ryan Sims winning a starting job. Did he? All I remember about him is his interception when Greg Robinson had him 15 yards downfield in coverage one time. Sigh.

He was a mess off the field and wasn't able to stick much past his initial contract.

IMO, he wasn't even close to being in the same stratosphere as Gary Green, let alone Gary Barbaro, Lloyd Burress, Albert Lewis, Kevin Ross, etc. and so on.
