That's who I was going to go with. Gonzalez, too, of course. Hali. Maybe John Taint, although I never thought he was all that great on the left side. I would argue that Berry has, or is on his way towards it, despite the lost year. Not sure on Dale Carter, I wasn't here for his tenure.
More than I expected to name. Second round picks would be funny in a sad way. |

I wouldn't put Dorsey in with those other guys, though. He hasn't been spectacular, but he's captured and held a starting job, which those other guys never did. Or at least, I don't remember Ryan Sims winning a starting job. Did he? All I remember about him is his interception when Greg Robinson had him 15 yards downfield in coverage one time. Sigh.

Okoye was a second round pick but also was the biggest reason I became a chiefs fan.

What do you not like about Dale Carter? The guy was a four-time pro bowler and was one of the top cover corners in the league during his era. Sure, he wasn't the brightest star in the Chiefs constellation, but I think people underrate how good he was on the field.

IMO, he wasn't even close to being in the same stratosphere as Gary Green, let alone Gary Barbaro, Lloyd Burress, Albert Lewis, Kevin Ross, etc. and so on. |
