Then this week, Silva summed up his experience watching Davis via Twitter (edited to remove Twitter jargon) and the review wasn’t pretty:

Knile Davis [is] the toughest RB watch I’ve done. [Davis is a] stiff, clumsy, plodder -– even before injury. Below-average burst [and] left so many [yards] on [the] field . . . Poor man’s Shonn Greene. Did not overpower defenders, rarely made [people] miss.

Grinding lunger. Lacks quick twitch. [I] watched two high-volume 2010 Knile Davis games –- two from `12. Very disappointing both years. Combine a lie. Fascinating how over-drafted he’ll be.

I'm not a fan of the Kniles Davis pick. Kelce's a very good pick.

Andy Reid loves his tight ends. Kelce could easily be a good 700 yard receiver who is also a terrific blocker. Not a bad combo to have. Reid got a ton of production out of Chad Lewis, LJ Smith, and now Brent Celek.

I agree.

His first lateral step is decent, but he is stiff as a board.

Being that big yet running upright it's no wonder he is injured a lot.

Because that's how Tiki fixed his problem. He started carrying the ball against his chest like a gay.
I don't care if they carry it in their pants if it means they quit fumbling.

Just not bad enough to get the first pick next year when Clowney will be there.

I was fine with Kelce (and Fisher), but the Davis pick is inexplicable. I guarantee that generated some WTF's in various war rooms around the league.
