****ing cat does that all the time. Especially up in the corners of the room near the ceiling. I swear, I sit there and stare at the same spot sometimes like a damn fool, trying to understand.

I'm convinced that they're actually hearing something that we can't. As opposed to seeing anything. Just my guess anyway. I'm sure somebody would contribute it to animals seeing supernatural shit, in the same way they talk about kids doing it.
