You cannot even get close like with Shotenheimer's Oklahoma drill.
Yep. We went to RF's for 3 years in a row and had a great time and you could get close to the action. Went last year to St. Joe and I will never be back. It is a giant waste of time.

River Falls was awesome. Great location, great weather, ridiculously fan friendly.

It was over nine hours each way for me to make that trip, and I never had to think twice. Now camp is four hours away, and you couldn't pay me to go.

Couldn't have said it any better.

You can thank the Chiefs and the NFL for screwing a good thing up.

In River Falls you could get up close during the practices and you were literally feet away from the action. In St. Joe you are quite a bit farther away. And there was alot less people as well.

Add in the shitty MO weather in August and the NFL changing the practice rules and I don't think it was worth the time. But that is just my opinion.

I went when they held practices @ William Jewel College years ago.
It was AWESOME,FREE,parking(if you could find someplace within a mile or so),FREE admission,pre-practice warmups were cool as hell cuz you could talk to the players b4 it started.
When it all ended for the day ,players would be walking toward the locker room when you could get pics and have a chat with them.
These are the few names from that era(early 80s),Christian Okoye,Stephone Page,Steve DeBerg and many others pics were taken of and passed on to family as mementoes.
Theose were the FREE days,That was when Karen Kornackie 1st started with KMBC TV 9 as a Sportscaster. She was there every time.
Ya,I know,waaaay back.
Be cool,Been a Chiefs fan since 1968.
I have a Chiefs "vintage" Jacket from 1969 B4 they went to Super Bowl #1.
Ya,I stillhave it,NO It's NOT for sale and it's in great shape .....

I wonder if those people are just being drunk and celebratory, or if they don't realize what a shitty move was just made with a 1.1 pick?

I pretty much do not trust the Chiefs anymore. Just slapping a new dick in to the HC/GM chair(s) ain't gonna' get it. Fans should be more descriminating and demanding. All this bullshit people call "bad luck" or "the breaks" is exactly that; horseshit. Bad decisions are made in this league, not bad luck.

Wake up Lil' Chiefy, you dumb mother****er.

I'm gonna miss the old family fun night in River Falls. The scrimmage under the lights was always a fun time.
