Yes and no. Rodgers was a late rounder.

The fact remains that some years are good for first round QB's and some are bad.

This year wasn't good.

I'm talking about Cleveland. They are just dumb ****ers to begin with. Both times they took Qbs they traded back up to do it. Going the safe route with Joe Thomas and Trent Richardson, two of the best draft prospects ever and true fan wet dreams, haven't won them shit.

There is absolutely no doubt that Cleveland chose the wrong first round QB in the 2012 draft. I would like to have heard Holmgren's reasoning for passing on RGIII (and Wilson, for that matter).
