Infante has been pretty clutch in the late innings with the bat and his defense just looks so effortless and solid. The chemistry is so good with the team and they have all struggled in the past and can relate to Infante's plate struggles and that makes me wonder how they would feel if he lost his starting job.

That play. My God.

The ball was in Omar's glove for a split second. Everything about that play by both Omar and Esky was just instincts.

Who would have thought Hosmer strokes a game winning HR with 2 outs in the 9th inning and all we can talk about is a ground out to start an inning. Insane.

This team.

I think what makes it look so perfect is the ease Infante and Esky turned it. So in sync it looked easy.

Gordon's dive into the stands got retired as a web gem, I think this one tonight just clinched it for the year. Unreal this team.

Aside from injury or a random day off, that's why you can't play Zobrist at 2nd base. All of us bitching and moaning earlier this season about Omar's bat was well founded but you just cannot **** with the chemistry between Omar and Esky....that play doesn't happen with Zobrist even if he gets to it.

Just flipped over to the 9pm sportscenter, and its obvious that they called a very late audible to bump up the Royals game near the top because the anchor wasn't ready for it at all, and probably didn't have a chance to review any film before air. When the play happened, he was speechless and forgot for 2 replays that he was supposed to be talking.
