Which drugs have you used recreationally?

There’s a debate in DC right now that’s got me a bit curious about the people’s drug use.

I’m going to play fast and loose on what is considered a drug and how they’re grouped/separated. If you have tried any of these options, even once, please note it in the poll options.

Also, feel free to discuss anything drug related as non-politically as possible.

Yeah, this is what I've been told. Tbh who knows what it was? I'm glad this was before fentanyl became a thing because there's no way I'd blow white powder up my nose now lol

My old roommate got to the point where he was taking whatever that crap was every weekend for a while. I only tried it three times. The first time was great, the second and third weren't anything awesome.

I was prescribed Percocet after breaking my leg the first time. Had a trio of doctors treating me and was getting sent 3 months supplies at a time. No one was asking anything and I honestly didn't even know I was addicted. I graduated college taking them everyday for 2+ years.

I'm not even kidding, one night I really had to pee, but I jerked off before I went and then took a piss with nearly a full boner, strong stream, which we all know isn't the most comfortable. So I popped a Percocet to take away that little discomfort away so I could go to sleep and it hit me that I was addicted.

So I the next day I gave the 2.5 months worth I had left to my buddy.

I've done most. Molly would be my favorite. Happiest, feel good, the lights are so much brighter effect. The weed has gotten crazy good the last few years. If you're not a regular weed head you can't take more than a couple hits without getting your head blown off. The coke on the other hand is dogshit. Idk if its the fentanyl or the meth they're cutting it with but I haven't done good coke in 4-5 years.

Why I quit: I was driving home on a Tuesday morning about 8am (been up all night of course) and all traffic in the opposite direction were men in suits and school buses...I knew it was time to GTFO of college and start adult life.

Why did I start: I was a bartender @ the only nightclub in my college town, and many literally paid me in various party favors for tips. I was swimming in it...cocktail waitresses, a manager, girls from the private school across town, sorority girls, independents, and a local younger MILF. I was a very recreational user, but the fact I could pretty much get anyone anything, and that I would show up at parties after work at 1-2 am with extra-curriculars helped....my mystique. It was a scene, it was like being a low level rock star (Richard Marx literally sent a girl to my door late one night after a show lol).

Acid story: did it with 3 other guys and 4 girls...ended up going to a party and I absolutely didn't want to be there. Could not communicate and I stood in a bedroom staring at a calendar with a beach scene. I KNEW the surf was just a still photo, but the surf kept rolling in. I literally could not stop the photo from moving. I also could not regulate my body temp, sweating while inside the crowded party, froze my ass off when I went outside to cool down. Pretty much sucked most of the night, had a lot of laughs late in the night when we went back to the house and the 8 of us just hung out. Mushrooms= all laughs, weed= all laughs (when you were young)...anything harder than that, no thank you. I am not an addictive personality and had no problems adjusting to professional life,

Tobacco
Alcohol
Weed
Acid
Shrooms
Crack once, hated it
Heroin, smoked not shot
Xanax, percocet, oxy, valium, speeders, any pill you can name
Joints dipped in embalming fluid

And last but not least, my favorite, coke... last had some about 5 years ago, it smelled strongly of ether so I was pretty excited since I last had it ten years or more before that, but the buzz was total GARBAGE like it was cut with fent

Wouldn't touch ANYTHING but alcohol and dispensary weed with a ten foot pole these days, fentanyl is a genuine scourge

I've never done it. Way too expensive to bother trying it.

I generally would try most plant based "natural" drugs. I didn't trust the chemistry or honesty of the average drug dealer.

I plan to do a DMT "retreat" at some point with actual trip sitters and whatnot. One day.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
