Franchise QBs

This is going to be a poll.

My buddy and I are trying to develop criteria for drafting, finding, grooming a franchise QB. First we need to know what a franchice QB is. So we looked at everyone who made the probowl from 1980-2005. That list we then sorted according to yes definitely a franchise QB, maybe, and no, definitely not a franchie QB.

Here is a list of definites, FYI:

Brady, Tom
Manning, Peyton
McNair, Steve
Palmer, Carson
Brunell, Mark
Elway, John
Moon, Warren
Marino, Dan
Esiason, Boomer
Montana, Joe
Kelly, Jim
Culpepper, Dante
McNabb, Don
Favre, Brett
Young, Steve
Aikman, Troy
Warner, Kurt
Cunningham, Randall
Simms, Phil
Theismann, Joe
Kosar, Bernie
Fouts, Dan
Anderson, Ken
White, Danny
Jaworski, Ron

We want you to vote on the maybe's. Do you consider any of the guys in the poll to be franchise QBs?

In the period 1982 - 2003, there were 44 QBs drafted in the first round. Only 11 appear on the franchise QB list. That's 1/4. It's a crapshoot I tell you, a crap shoot.

I wouldn't consider Kurt Warner a franchise QB either.
