I am dead serious when I say this. One guy really making a difference on offense is..

Kris Wilson.

Yes.

Since he's been lining up in the backfield we've had a much more potent receiving threat since he's used as a TE/WR/FB. He's being used the way Al always wanted to use him and it's actually working. His two TDs in the past 3 weeks shows that he IS making a difference out there.

It seems the offensive production has gone up since Ronnie Cruz got hurt and Wilson took his spot.

I think Wilson still needs to improve as the lead blocker. He is less efficient when he has to lead into the hole. But I do like what he brings to the outside passing game. If he can go through the hole in the middle and get open look out.

if he picks up his blocking, we will say t-rich was not this good

I like having Wilson playing the fullback role. I think he is only getting better.

I must be the only one that thinks the running game has gotten better with his "sorry" blocking. Since cruz was out LJ has been putting up 150 + yard games

I think the Oline play is more responsible for the recent success in the running game. Wilson is improving in that aspect, but in a true short yardage situation, I think he's still behind Cruz.

He is doing a good job when they bring him out of the backfield or motion him out, which should continue to give him good matchups, or free up Gonzalez by pulling the safety over....

Its good stuff.

He's already got more TD's than TR had the last 5 years. LJ doesn't nessecarily need a blocking fullback but our QB does. Kris Wilson gives us waaay more versatility than TR ever did. The best thing that's happened to our O this year was Cruz gettin hurt.
