Martez Wilson is a first rounder, by the way.
No way that cat falls to the 2nd. |

Guy is 250 lbs with 4.4 speed and was a stud throughout college. If you don't think every 4-3 team that loves range in their MLBs isn't hunting this guy down, you're high. I say we put a bet for signatures on it. Who wants to try me? |

I'm okay with that first round pick, certainly depending on what else is on the board.

The Wisky kid would be a great pick, but I'd be surprised if he's there at our pick. I'd kill to land Pouncey with our first. We need a center and he's a proven commodity...his twin is already a star at Pittsburgh. He moves like a puma out there and he's strong and mean. A great center sets up the entire offense.

No to pouncey. He isn't his brother. Not a center in the nfl. Even florida homers will tell you that

i'm not against picking up a RT in the first, even if it doesn't thrill me...but i can't speak to the relative merits of the ol available...
i suspect we'll try like hell to trade down unless someone we weren't expecting falls into our lap...there aren't any omg! WRs or NT projected to be there, unless they fall in love with Taylor for some reason I really like the idea of Pettis in the 3rd though..

Pettis is a really good player. He reminds me of Stephone Paige...a kid that just makes plays and finds ways to get open.

Hmmm...I could go with an official Chiefs Planteer mock:
1. Phil Taylor, NT; Baylor 2. Sam Acho, OLB/DE; Texas 3. Greg Little, WR; UNC 4. Tim Barnes, C; Missouri 5. Nathan Enderle, QB; Idaho 5. Darren Evans, RB; Viginia Tech 6. Stan Havili, FB; USC 7. Richard Lapham, OT; Boston College |

Newly edited to reflect Direckshun's assertion that Martez Wilson is going to be a first rounder and that Lockett is UDFA material. (I agree that Wilson will most likely be gone by the time the Chiefs pick in the second round and Lockett may go early based on his combine numbers or not at all because of his raw football skill set and lack of competition.)
I like the new one better. |
