i don't really care how much Clark spends or doesn't spend on the Chiefs in dollar amounts. i care about the value the franchise gets from what he spends. for example, players that will help the team win games instead of just collecting a paycheck, coaches that will help the players get better instead of worse, and a general manager that can acquire both instead of the crap we have now. spending does not equal spending wisely, and there is a very important difference.

i think that most people wouldn't care so much about the cost of going to games, if the Chiefs were selling them a better product. it's like being charged full price for a used car that doesn't even start most of the time.

As far as flying the banners is concerned, I was the first to jump on the bandwagon and commit money after prcapone started the thread.

I did so knowing full well, that it just very well may have the opposite of the desired effect on the outcome, short term.
It is kind of human nature for people in a position of authority to entrench their position when external pressure is being applied to change it.

But, it was fun and the message got out nationwide that we are sick of this shit.

Bottom line, we are the consumers, they need to please us.

That being said, I personally didn’t care for the public display of discord by use of a banner flying over Arrowhead; such displays have the potential to place the fanbase as a whole in a bad light. That being said, I respect that you care so much about your team to spend extra money for such a display,

I would suggest and alternative: it may go against younger generations’ grain to not make public statements (ala Facebook or Twitter), but there’s a thing called letter writing that involves a pen and paper which would be more low key (as in less inflammatory to the fanbase) and cheaper, too

Letters are too easily ignored. I'm betting a countless amount of them have been just that. Drastic times call for drastic measures. The plane got everyone's attention, only because the fans have been ignored so long.
