So, you’re the coach

Going against Buffalo for the divisional. You have made some offensive adjustments in the past two weeks that seem to be working. What offensive plays do you take out of the play book for this game?

Number one for me is anything long to Hardman or MVS.

I bet the Bills are playing us shallow, so we’re going to have to hit a few of those deep balls.

For the love of God, why?

When's he ever demonstrated an ability to execute them?

Moore's not even going to be active. If you're running jet sweeps, Mecole Hardman is the guy to be doing them with.

I remove the shovel pass inside the red zone play. Yes, I know it worked in the past.

They are going to have some serious communication issues, so I kinda expect us to attack that with a lot of crossers and misdirection stuff.

Stuff I’d take out:

Not running the ball with Pacheco inside the 5. Feed that man.

I'd try Watson on those deep balls instead of MVS or Hardman.

Of course, those routes are a part of almost every passing play, the fact that they've been open just shows that defenses don't think they'll catch the ball anyway.

But you still have to throw that, or all 11 guys crowd the line of scrimmage.

Gotta figure out 3rd and 1.

How about QB ****ING SNEAK Andy.

Don't let that fluke injury from 4 years ago derail more drives when it matters most.

Running plays from shotgun, too slow developing and we don’t have the back to make something out of nothing , run from under center and the PA works better , buffalo will try and get to pat with 4-5 man rushes if we can show the ability to run and commit we win.

3rd & 1, no double reverse cutsie BS, just give it to 10 and let him power through.

As some have said; Pacheco runs like he's angry at the ground...FEED THAT RAGE!!!!

I'd also consider trying Rice a time or two on those deep routes. Switch roles with Hardman and Rice on the play. Might totally catch them off guard.

Toney or Skyy don't see the field the rest if the playoffs. No more WR runs in short yardage. Trust the defense and be willing to kick fgs in close games. Stick to the ground game and take afew deep shots early.

Agreed, we need MVS and Hardmen to run deep sometimes to keep the Bills D honest, that's the realty of it.

If I'm McDermott I at least give a fleeting thought to just leaving MVS and Hardman completely uncovered on their deep routes. Gives you an extra defender and what are the odds they actually catch the ball, even if it's a perfect pass? 1 in 5000?
