As for opening weekend, yes I blame most of it on Herm. I'm not one of these guys that gives all the credit to Parcells or the players and all the blame to Herm. herm motivates as well as anyone and he certainly had something to do with playoffs 60% of the time (not 50% ). But I think he did more harm than good, thats my honest opinion.

no, losing all of our quarterbacks is not solely the responsibility of the coach. i think that the jets were so injury stricken last season because they were not prepared for the season! (see opener in arrowhead stadium)
like your game last night vs. the giants, and the game vs. the texans...the chiefs are not prepared like the jets were not prepared last year. the jets had light and easy practices (sound familiar, chiefs fans?), and they played SOFT (oh, like how the chiefs played last night). watching the last 2 chiefs games, i said to myself...my god, they look like we did last year! im sorry to say it, but its the truth. some of you are herm advocates...but by week 3, youre going to start missing vermeil.

I've been missing DV since January. Personally, I'm right there with you New Yawkas on your assessment of Herm. These guys are too but won't admit it yet. They're still in the denial phase of the 12 step program.

He's coached two preseason games. I'm pretty sure I'll give him more than that before I decide he's a bad coach.
