NBC reporting Wesley will be gone
Just for the record, NBC reported last night that Wesley told them that he was not returning.

Just watched it again, reported that the Chiefs are shopping Wesley to Bears, Vikings and Packers. Wesley told the source that he "would not" play for the Chiefs next season.

I was a big Wesley fan, the hits he laid. But more & more I got the impression the kid was not all that bright. I hope Page and Pollard are not more of the same. Start out strong then get caught drunk in a bar lobby & involved in a spithood scandal

I think Wesley had all the tools, but he didn't have a lick of heart.

That's why he's out of position more often than not.

How many times did he just stop running altogether when a receiver caught a ball behind him and had a 4-step head start to the endzone?

Compare that to JoPo-legend of Priest Holmes who literally chased a cornerback 100 yards. Or hell, even to Pollard in the Ravens game, who chased down a receiver who had everyone beat by 10 yards, while all the veterans slowed to a jog.

Wesley will be a decent backup somewhere else where he might be more passionate. But he didn't come to play in Kansas City.

Wesley has some skills, but terrible technique and is lazy as hell. This is a damn bold move to cut loose both Sammie and Wesley to play the kids, but I like it!! Reminds of the old days when Woods/Tongue took over their 2nd seasons.

Say what you want about Wesley but he is a much better safety than either of the young guys....he's faster, a better tackler, and a ball hawk to boot.

This is the 2nd very stupid move Herm has made this offseason.
