But not for a ****ing 1st round pick. I'd give them a 2nd round pick and a conditional pick in 2012. Use the 1st round pick next year and draft a ****ing QB.

Just for comparisons.....Matt Leinart couldn't get the ball to Fitz. Do you think Matt Cassel could?
I'd be shocked if the Chiefs use their #1 on a QB next year. My advice is to prepare for disappointment.

The author of this piece needs to be gang raped.
In your opinion, what price would get the Cardinals to part with Fitzgerald? And what should the Chiefs be willing to give up for him?

Marshall brought back 2 2nd round picks so at the very least you will have to give that up.

You would be better off waiting for another chance at a Boldin like trade for a 3rd and 4th or even better the deal the Pats got giving up a 4th for Moss.

Marshall, Boldin, and Moss were traded by motivated sellers, to varying extents. I don't see any reason for Arizona to be in a hurry to move Fitzgerald so I can't imagine them being willing to take any of the deals you described above. If they were willing to take any of them, the Chiefs should jump on it today, IMO.

There is no price. There's no way the Arizona Cardinals trade Larry Fitzgerald.

He's not Randy Moss, a guy with a chip on his shoulder in a contract year that's been a locker room cancer.

It's Larry Fitzgerald. A great team mate, maybe the hardest working receiver in the league who's far from malcontent.

Plus, they just traded away Anquan Boldin. Why in the world would they trade Fitz?

I guess the asking price for LF would be three number ones, which is never going to happen.

I agree with Dane. If the Cardinals are dumb enough to trade Fitz for a 1st, or a 1st and a 3rd, or two 2nds, they are stupid and the Chiefs should jump all over it.

There's no reason to trade him. He's not a cancer. He's not destined to be a free agent next year. He SEEMS like the kind of guy that would want to play his whole career in one place (especially after he's already been to a super bowl with that team). And he's their only offensive weapon.

Right, like I said you start at 2 2nds for Marshall and must at least do that and probably more. So it would take a lot, maybe a 1st and 2nd if those picks aren't at the bottom of the round especially now that top picks will actually will have value again once a new CBA is reached.

I think it's a done deal. We'll hear it announced right after the trade with New England for Tom Brady goes through.

Wow, I don't think that's ever been done for 1 guy has it? The Hershall Walker trade has so much extra stuff thrown in there it's tough to quantify what part of that he actually brought back IMO.

Cutler basically brought 2 1st and I think it would take a prime Manning, Brady, Rivers, type QB to bring back 3 1st.

But yeah, it would never happen.

There you go. Thanks. I agree that whatever they'd be willing to take, it would be so high that the Chiefs or pretty much anyone else would be foolish to give it up.
