Chiefs 2017 Predictions

14-2 , upgrade the line, get smith some weapons. Reid and Smith should be comfortable in their regime now. It's gonna be our year

My Prediction for 2017 : lots of BBQ, no Super Bowl. "But there's always next year - 2018 season tickets on sale NOW!"

2017: Somewhere between 7-11 wins, with a ceiling of being done on the second weekend of the playoffs.

Imagine if it were reversed and it was the offense that was "opportunistic," consistently converting short fields into scores but rarely putting together long drives or big plays, and getting little push from the line. Would we call it a great offense and never criticize it?
The Defense doesn't get a "pass", you ****ing imbecile. The D was GASSED from being on the field the entire first half. Also, missing DJ doesn't help the run D. At all. Don't know why Hali wasn't moved inside to help with the run, but I digress...

The fact remains that the D held the Steelers to 0 TDs at home during a playoff game. 18 pts on 6 FGs. If the offense can just score 3 TDs at home, we win. 3 TDs at home shouldn't be a tall order. That's not even one TD per qtr. Just one TD in the 3rd to go with the one in the 1st and the one in the 4th.

THAT is why people are critical of the offense. The offense that leaves the Defense on the field CONSTANTLY, 3 and out after 3 and out...can't even string a couple first downs together to give them a ****ing BREAK. The offense that constantly leaves the D in a bad spot...

For such an "offensive genius" as Reid, it's pretty ****ing pathetic. Weak sauce.

hey dumbass..why don't you get mad at the offensefor not getting time of possession?

After the first drive, the Chiefs had 6 godawful drives.

5 plays-punt-3:03 mins
3 plays-INT-1:20 mins
3 plays-punt-1:01 mins
Halftime
3 plays-punt-1:12 mins
7 plays-punt-4:54 mins
7 plays-FG-2:50 mins

From 3:46 left in the 1st Q to 9:49 left in the 4th Q, the Chiefs had the ball for 14:32 mins. That's ****ing horrific.

**** anyone blaming the defense. The offense was garbage outside of the first and last drives

FACT.

The Steelers scored 0 TDs and less than 20 pts. At Arrowhead.

And the offense couldn't even match their 18 point output. At home.

****ing pathetic.

Looking at how Reid's Philly team trended, I expect a slow decline next year due to his message falling on deaf ears.

The OL was terrible. Smith was mostly not good but he did get the game tied before the ref screwed us executing his orders to make sure Pitt won. The WR's were garbage dropping everything.

No surprise we lost.
